Guest Director/Artist in Residence — SUNY/Potsdam
After a national search, I was selected as the Guest Director/Artist in Residence for the Lougheed Festival of the Arts. While in residence, I directed "Ruined" by Lynn Nottage.
I wrote the biographies for Beyonce, Brandy Norwood, and Lauryn Hill in the recently released, "Music in American Life: An Encyclopedia of the Songs, Styles, Stars, and Stories that Shaped our Culture."

My acting student becomes a star overnight! Emmanuel Hudson’s YouTube videos “Rachet Girl Anthem” and “Asking All Them Questions” soar with 50+ million views. I am very proud of him!

I was selected to coordinate a workshop with young women for CNN’s special titled “Daughters of Legacy.” The workshop was facilitated by Attallah Shabazz and Sherri Poitier, the daughters of Malcolm X and Sidney Poitier.
