My groundbreaking research on Fat Studies and Freddie Hendricks and the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta was presented at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education conference and the Midwest Popular Association conference.

I was selected to coordinate a workshop with young women for CNN’s special titled “Daughters of Legacy.” The workshop was facilitated by Attallah Shabazz and Sherri Poitier, the daughters of Malcolm X and Sidney Poitier.
